Why This Tour?
Patagonia is one of the most rewarding birding destinations in the Southern Hemisphere. Few places in the world offer such a remarkable combination of landscapes, wildlife and endemic species within a single journey.
Over two weeks we travel from the arid Monte Desert of northern Patagonia to the humid forests of Chile and the Andean Lake District, exploring habitats that host many of the region's most sought-after birds.
This itinerary has been refined over years of guiding and is designed to maximize bird diversity while maintaining comfortable travel distances and high-quality accommodations.

This departure can be combined with our Iguazú & Atlantic Forest Small Group Departure (February 13–21, 2027).
Together, both tours create an extraordinary month-long birding adventure through two of South America's most contrasting and rewarding regions, from the subtropical Atlantic Forest to the forests, mountains and coastlines of Patagonia.
