For the first time, Buenos Días Birding is offering a fixed-date small-group departure of our classic Iberá Wetlands & Iguazú Falls journey.
This is the same itinerary we have successfully operated for years as a tailor-made trip for international birders and nature travelers. For this special departure, participants will share transportation and guiding costs while enjoying the same expert local guides, comfortable accommodations and carefully designed route.
The journey combines two of South America's most extraordinary ecosystems: the vast Iberá Wetlands and the Atlantic Rainforest of Misiones, including the world-famous Iguazú Falls.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Buenos Aires
Arrival in Argentina and overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 2 – Travel to Loreto
Flight and transfer to Iberá Birding Lodge in Loreto. Afternoon birding around the lodge and feeders.
Day 3 – San Antonio Portal
Full day exploring Iberá's northern wetlands, grasslands and lagoons.
Day 4 – Salto Encantado
Travel to Misiones and birding in the Atlantic Rainforest around Salto Encantado Provincial Park.
Day 5 – Iguazú and Hummingbird Garden
Transfer to Puerto Iguazú. Birding along the way and visit to the famous hummingbird garden.
Day 6 – Iguazú Falls National Park
Full day birding and wildlife observation inside one of South America's most spectacular national parks.
Day 7 – Morning Birding and Flight to Buenos Aires
Final birding session before returning to Buenos Aires.
Day 8 – Buenos Aires
Free day or optional activities.
Day 9 – International Departures

Birds and Wildlife
The combination of wetlands, grasslands, Chaco woodlands and Atlantic Rainforest creates one of the richest birding experiences in Argentina.

- Swallow-tailed (Blue) Manakin
Wildlife commonly includes Capybaras, Caimans, Marsh Deer, monkeys and a variety of reptiles and mammals.

The tour uses comfortable hotels and lodges strategically located near the main birding areas.
Particular emphasis is placed on staying close to key habitats in both Iberá and Iguazú, maximizing time in the field while maintaining comfort throughout the journey.
